Yanchep is growing rapidly, with an increase of 4300 residents in 2016. That's a 29% growth in one year alone!

This creates some enormous opportunities for the area, particularly for new and existing businesses. Yanchep Beach Joint Venture are currently developing WA's next Strategic Metropolitan Centre in what's going to become the new Yanchep CBD. Funding for the Yanchep rail has also been secured in the Federal budget, a critical milestone in the planning process.

It's important we beginning planning for this development by growing our economic capacity in the area. Incubators like Y.hub Coworking provide a professional, flexible environment to support small businesses in their journey to success. Larger businesses are also able to use these facilities to expand into the region on a highly flexible basis, without having to make any long-term commitments. Strategic planning is an important concept for any business looking to survive and grow, so it's important to consider Yanchep in any future strategy.

Y.hub's Coworking Space is located inside the Yanchep Research, Innovation and Enterprise Centre. This fantastic facility brings together a UWA/YBJV-led Co-operative Research Centre, the City of Wanneroo, the Yanchep Institute and a Spacecubed-powered coworking space to provide the resources Yanchep needs to compete in the modern economy.
